The LTR390 is a compact, low-cost UV and ambient light sensor ideal for projects needing accurate UV measurements. Unlike sensors like the Si1145, which estimate UV Index using visible light levels, the LTR390 offers true UVA detection with a spectral response of 300350nm.

It features a simple I2C interface, making it easy to use with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontrollers. This sensor is mounted on a STEMMA QT-compatible breakout board, supports both 3.3V and 5V logic, and requires no external ADC thanks to its built-in biasing and signal processing.
